WELCOME

We are a Christ-Centered Church seeking to worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth.

  • The Bible is our supreme authority for life and godliness, and though a confession or statement of faith cannot take the place of Holy Scripture, we are committed to being a confessional people who hold to the truths found in our statement of faith The Baptist Faith & Message (2000) and pastoral leadership subscribing to the Second London Baptist Confession (1689). Confessions help promote unity and understanding of what the word teaches.

  • We realize that this term may be hard to pin down. Perhaps the best way to summarize it is that to be reformed means one holds to a historic reformed confession (such as the 2nd London Baptist Confession), believes in the doctrines of grace, practices the regulative principle of worship (conducting our services according how God has prescribed), and holds to the ancient creeds of the church (such as the Apostles Creed). We understand these things can be difficult for some, and so we are committed to walking lovingly with members who may disagree but are willing to submit to the pastors of this body. The leadership, however, will come from a reformed theological persuasion.

  • We are committed to living in gospel community, actually being involved in one another’s lives and growing together in the grace of Christ. Through cultivating gospel community, we will evangelize, make disciples, and reach our neighbors by inviting them in and loving them as Christ has loved us.

  • We are a "Savior Sensitive" Church. We believe that the purpose of the church is to glorify Christ. We do this by worshiping him according to how he has commanded us to worship and obeying him in how we are to make disciples. We will not cater to the carnal will of man and conform to the “seeker” but we will seek to make much of Christ alone. We believe what Jesus, himself, said in John 12:32, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”
